Accessibility Statement

Last Updated: 9/15/25

The Education Foundation of Osceola County (“EFOC”) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We are continually working to improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to ensure our website is usable by as many people as possible.

Our Commitment

We strive to make our website and digital content accessible to everyone, regardless of ability. This includes individuals with visual, auditory, cognitive, and motor disabilities. Our goal is to provide a welcoming and inclusive digital environment that reflects the values of our organization and the diversity of our community.

Accessibility Standards

To achieve this, we aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA standards, which are recognized as the international standard for web accessibility.

Where possible, our website is designed to:

  • Be navigable by keyboard and screen readers

  • Use clear, consistent structure with descriptive headings and labels

  • Include alt text for images and meaningful link descriptions

  • Ensure sufficient contrast between text and backgrounds

  • Allow text to be resized without loss of content or functionality

  • Avoid content that may cause seizures or physical reactions (e.g. flashing graphics)

Steps We Are Taking

We are actively working to:

  • Audit our website for accessibility issues

  • Fix areas that do not meet standards

  • Train our team on digital accessibility best practices

  • Integrate accessibility considerations into all future web updates and designs

We recognize that accessibility is an ongoing effort and welcome feedback to help us improve.

Third‑Party Content

While we strive to ensure all content on our site is accessible, there may be third-party tools, documents, or platforms embedded or linked from our site (such as donation processors, videos, PDFs, or social media feeds) that may not fully meet accessibility standards. We do not control the accessibility of these external resources but are happy to help provide accessible alternatives upon request.
