Marisa has 17 years of management experience as a Business Developer and Marketer for architectural firms, engineering firms, and general contractors. With a strong, outgoing personality and an eye for detail, she thoroughly enjoys building relationships and strategic, targeted marketing.
As a Business Developer with AVCON, Marisa is responsible for helping the firm grow its pipeline as well as maintaining positive relationships with its clients and strategic partners. The departments she is charged with are Land Development, Structures, Facilities, Transportation, and Planning. Marisa identifies new clients and pivotal opportunities, represents the company through various organizations and industry events, and is a trusted company resource.
As a millennial, she flourishes at social media engagement, strategic planning, and the alignment of those plans. She was nominated in 2021 for the ENR 40 Under 40 Awards. In 2017, Marisa received the SMPS Central Florida Shining Star Award. She started in the industry as a versatile administrative and marketing assistant and quickly fell in love with design and construction. She has grown into a well-rounded and well-respected background and today is known by many in the Central Florida AEC (architecture, engineering, and construction) and CRE (commercial real estate) community.
