The Kids Closet was designed to assist Osceola County School District students in need to obtain new uniform clothing for school. Currently there are over 2,000 homeless children living in cars or motels, and 77% who qualify for the Free or Reduced Lunch Program.
Since Osceola County has a district wide uniform policy, students are not allowed to attend school if they are out of dress code. Luckily, our School District Guidance Counselors and teachers work together to identify these high need students so that they do not have to miss any school. School staff members fill out a request form to obtain uniform shirts, pants, shorts, socks, underwear, jackets, sweatshirts and personal hygiene products.
and donations of NEW, uniform appropriate clothing are accepted. For more information, contact Kathy Ejnioui at the Education Foundation, 407-348-2370, or email her at email@example.com.
