Take Stock In Children
Take Stock in Children is a comprehensive program designed to fight two of the most critical problems facing Florida and Osceola County –high drop-out and youth crime rates. By providing low-income children with college and vocational tuition scholarships, volunteer mentors, student advocates/case managers, early intervention and long-term support, Take Stock in Children has achieved tremendous success in helping students stay out of trouble, graduate from high school, attend college and become thriving citizens.

Invest in a Child
Become a Mentor
Mentors are the key components to the success of this program. A mentor is a caring, compassionate adult who chooses to devote their time to a young person, offering them support, guidance and encouragement. If you can donate one hour per week, you can change a life by helping a child build a solid foundation of values, establish goals, improve their academic and life skills, while developing their self-esteem and confidence. If you are interested in becoming a mentor, please contact Marla Longsworth at 407-348-9728. Click here to fill out our Mentor Application.
