Volunteer

Volunteers are the heart and soul of AGFT. It takes a team of dedicated volunteers to operate our Free Store filled with wonderful supplies by doing many of the following:

• Sort donations
• Stock shelves
• Assist shoppers with check-in and check-out procedures
• Plan special events
• Help with fundraising
• Help with "Push For Pencils" supply drive
• Work on mailing projects

There are a number of opportunities for individuals or groups to get involved, whether it is an ongoing commitment or a one-time project.

• Teachers
• Parents
• Students (fulfill community service hours)
• Retired executives, corporate partners, and more

A few of our volunteers are retired teachers who are glad to "give back to education," while some are community organizations, family and friends who come because of their interest in helping children. If one word sums up a volunteer's experience at AGFT, it would be FUN!
