2009-2010 Mini-Grants

	"Potions & Motions" Attention: Osceola Math, Science, and Energy Enthusiasts! Funds are available for the 2009-2010 "Potions & Motions" mini-grants to be implemented between December 2009 and May 2010. Approximately $50,000 in grant funds will be dispersed in increments of up to $2,400, for Math, Science, and Energy projects. Funded by a grant from Progress Energy. 	Grants for Great Ideas Grants for Great Ideas is funded by the Darden Restaurants Foundation. The Education Foundation-Osceola County established its Educator Grant Program to financially assist Osceola public/charter school pre-kindergarten through post-secondary teachers. Innovative classroom projects are eligible for grants up to $1,000 and should enhance instruction and enrich student experiences.
The Education Foundation~Osceola County is implementing both grants on one application this year. Check which grant you wish to apply for and send us your application. The Education Foundation will award grants for projects to be implemented between December 2009 and May 2010. Each applicant may submit only one application. Handwritten applications will not be accepted. You can download the application (a Word document) and the Grant Budget Page (an Excel document). Type your responses into each form. Save a copy for your records. Return the completed forms to the Education Foundation via email (parpartj@osceola.k12.fl.us). Also provide a hard copy to the Education Foundation, 2310 New Beginnings Road, Suite 118, Kissimmee, FL 34744 by Thursday, May 27, 2010.
